Questions
What counts as a client?
A client is one project in Greenbar: one status page plus the monitors behind it. Monitors are pooled across your account, so a client with one site and a client with five both count as one.
Will my clients see Greenbar?
Each client’s status page lives at its own address, like yourclient.usegreenbar.com. On Free, the page shows a small “Powered by Greenbar” line. On paid plans you can turn it off.
What happens if I go over a limit or downgrade?
We stop new clients or monitors being added past the limit, and nothing gets deleted. On a downgrade, we pause the newest monitors over the limit and slow down check intervals that are faster than the new plan allows. You can resume them any time.
What do you check?
HTTP(S) checks on status code, with optional contains / doesn't-contain keyword checks. An incident opens after 2 failed checks in a row and closes after 2 successful ones, so a single blip won't page you. Checks currently run from one location.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Billing runs through Stripe and you can cancel from the billing portal. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for.
Do you charge in Canadian dollars?
Prices are in USD for now.
