Terms of Service

Last updated October 25, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and ArcticFlow Inc. ("Greenbar", "we", "us"), the company that runs Greenbar at usegreenbar.com. By creating an account or using Greenbar, you agree to them. If you use Greenbar for a company, you agree for that company too.

1. The service

Greenbar checks the websites you add, alerts you when they fail, and hosts status pages for your clients. Features and limits for each plan are on the pricing page.

2. Your account

You need to be 18 or older and use Greenbar for business. Keep your sign-in email secure. You're responsible for what happens in your account, including what teammates you invite do there.

3. Acceptable use

Only monitor sites you own or have permission to monitor. Don't use Greenbar to:

  • load-test, attack or overwhelm a site, or get around our rate limits or plan limits;
  • publish status pages that are illegal, misleading, or impersonate someone else;
  • send spam through alerts or invites;
  • probe, scrape or break into Greenbar itself.

We may pause monitors or status pages that break these rules, and we'll tell you why.

4. Your content

You own what you add: client names, logos, monitor settings, incidents and status page text. You give us permission to store, process and display it only to run the service, for example to show your status pages to their visitors. You're responsible for having the rights to logos and names you upload. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data.

5. Plans, credit and billing

Prices are in US dollars and exclude applicable taxes. Card plans renew automatically each month or year until you cancel. New accounts may get starting credit, which pays for a plan day by day as described on the pricing page. Credit has no cash value, can't be transferred, and is limited to one per person. Payments are handled by Stripe. If a payment fails, we may move your account to Free. Monitors over the Free limit are paused, not deleted. We'll give at least 30 days' notice by email before a price change affects you.

6. Cancelling and refunds

You can cancel at any time. See our cancellation and refund policy.

7. No uptime guarantee

We work hard to keep checks, alerts and status pages running, but Greenbar is provided "as is". We don't promise that every check runs, that every alert arrives, or that the service is never down. Checks currently run from one location. Don't rely on Greenbar as your only way of knowing a critical system is down.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Greenbar isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, revenue or data, or losses from a missed or late alert. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Ending the agreement

You can stop using Greenbar and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms. Unless it's urgent, we'll warn you first. When an account closes, we delete its data as described in the privacy policy.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. For material changes, we'll email account owners at least 14 days before they take effect. If you keep using Greenbar after that, you accept the new terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada.
