Status pages for agency client sites
Greenbar watches your clients' websites, opens an incident when something breaks, and gives each client their own status page. You run it all from one dashboard, priced per agency, not per client.
"Is our site down?"
You look after a lot of client sites. When one breaks, the first you hear of it is often an email from the client. Then you check what happened, and when. Then you explain it in plain English. And next month, they ask how the site has been doing, and you start again.
How Greenbar handles it
- Monitoring. Add a client and paste their URLs. Greenbar starts checking them when you add them. It runs HTTP(S) checks on the status code, with optional keyword checks (the page contains, or doesn't contain, a word you choose). That catches a page that loads but shows an error. Paid plans include 1-minute checks and Free includes 5-minute checks.
- Automatic incidents. When checks fail, Greenbar opens an incident on its own. When the site recovers, it resolves it. You get an email alert on every plan, and Slack or signed webhook alerts on paid plans.
- A status page per client. Each client is one project: one status page plus the monitors behind it. The dashboard shows which client sites are up, slow or down at a glance. Click into any client for its monitors, incidents and history.
What your client sees
Each client gets a public page at a usegreenbar.com address, like yourclient.usegreenbar.com. It shows their services, the current status, daily uptime bars for each service and the incident history. Check history covers 90 days on paid plans and 7 days on Free. There's nothing for them to log in to. You send the link once, and they can check it whenever they like.
On paid plans, you can add the client's logo and brand colour, and hide the "Powered by Greenbar" line. On Free, the page shows a small "Powered by Greenbar" line.
Which plan fits an agency
- Agency: $35/month or $350/year. 30 client status pages, 150 monitors, 1-minute checks, email, Slack and signed webhook alerts, and 90-day check history. Client logo and brand colour, and the option to hide "Powered by Greenbar". Up to 3 logins, so more than one person can use it.
- Freelancer: $15/month or $150/year. 10 client status pages and 50 monitors, with the same paid features. Up to 3 logins is Agency only.
- Free: $0. 1 client status page, 5 monitors, 5-minute checks, email alerts and 7-day check history. Shows "Powered by Greenbar".
There are no per-seat fees and no per-page add-ons. Prices are in USD and exclude applicable taxes. Paying yearly gets you 2 months free. Need more than 30 clients? Email hello@usegreenbar.com.
FAQ
What counts as a client?
A client is one project in Greenbar: one status page plus the monitors behind it. Monitors are pooled across your account, so a client with one site and a client with five both count as one.
Can each client's status page show their logo?
Yes, on paid plans. On Freelancer and Agency, each client's page can show the client's logo and brand colour.
Will my clients see the Greenbar name?
On Free, each page shows a small "Powered by Greenbar" line. On paid plans you can turn it off. The page lives at a usegreenbar.com address, like yourclient.usegreenbar.com.
Can more than one person at my agency log in?
Yes, on the Agency plan. It includes up to 3 logins.
How often are client sites checked?
Paid plans include 1-minute checks and Free includes 5-minute checks.
How does the $100 credit work?
New accounts start with $100 in credit, no card needed. Pick Freelancer or Agency, and a day's price comes out of your credit each day ($0.49 or $1.15). We email you about a week before it runs out. Then you move to Free. Monitors over the Free limit are paused, never deleted.
